📊From Analysis to Practice: A Study on Pediatric Neurosurgery in the Cross-Border Region Has Been Completed

🔎 The focus is on trends in the provision of neurosurgical care for children, diagnostic and treatment options, staffing capacity, and key challenges facing medical facilities.

The analytical phase laid the groundwork for further practical decisions. Based on the results, a specialized training program is being developed for neurosurgeons in the region—taking into account real needs and identified gaps.

🌍 Short content for international audiences:

As part of the project “Emergency Care for Children in the Cross-Border Region. Neurosurgical Focus” (ROUA00315), implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 Program, a comprehensive study on pediatric neurosurgery in the cross-border region has been completed.

The research findings have already been transformed into a specialized training program for neurosurgeons, ensuring evidence-based and needs-oriented capacity building.
