In February 2026, training sessions for hospital managers began as part of the project “Emergency Care for Children in the Cross-Border Region. Neurosurgical Focus” (ROUA00315), implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 Program.
The first three-day module focused on strategic management in healthcare. Management teams from the Chernivtsi City Children’s Clinical Hospital (Ukraine) and the Suceava County Emergency Hospital (Romania) worked on strengthening strategic planning, institutional resilience, and effective leadership.
The project aims to improve the quality of healthcare, strengthen cross-border cooperation, and build a sustainable emergency care system for children in the region.
